What does it mean to give?
Too often we think of giving as an act of actaully giving a material good away. Giving can encompass a whole bunch of definitions and 'ideas'. There is an old saying, "Manners are free." In the same way, the act of giving is free because what you gave of yourself is so much more valuable given, than if you kept it for yourself.
Yes, certain charities and organizations thrive and flurish on the monitary donations they recieve, but quite often, its the non-tangible gifts given that really make a difference to those people who need help in thier lives.
